nMetrics’ IT Cost Accounting feature translates network usage into a dollar value, generating a true ROI. It allows you to allocate infrastructure to clients, business units and dispersed offices by accurately assessing and billing usage.

nMetrics have taken the lead in providing simply to use cost based IT with associated dollar value. Extensive IP accounting/billing features have been incorporated and integrated fully within the Application Monitor. The customizable billing reports allow network usage to be translated into dollar-value equivalence. Counters can be setup accordingly to track usage of a whole site, particular subnets, or individual hosts, over customizable periods.

Each subnet or site may have different billing parameters reflecting the fact that different subnets belong to different departments and network technologies. Specific reports can be generated and delivered automatically to provide clear billing information to users at different levels.

This feature-rich accounting module is widely used by management and administrators for reporting, billing, and controlling purposes.
